Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital Presents:
A Night of Mahjong!
Shuffle your tiles, gather your lucky charms, and get ready to call ’Mahjong!’ as we invite you to join the Bird Bam & All That Glam event on Thursday, June 18th, at the Hope Village Event Center from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Whether you’re a seasoned East Wind or a first-time flower tile, this evening promises fun for every player. From the thrill of drawing the perfect tile to the excitement of building your winning hand, our tables will be filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a little friendly competition. Newcomers, don’t worry if you haven’t called a Pung or Kong yet—our welcoming community is here to help you learn the ropes and enjoy the game.
So, break out your best Joker smile and prepare to mix, match, and mingle. Join us for a memorable night where strategy meets sparkle, and every tile brings you closer to new friends, great memories, and maybe even a winning hand!
Join us for an exciting event for just $40 per person or $150 per table, including a delicious meal from Savannah Café & Bakery.
Participants will be grouped into three categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. Each player will compete for the highest individual score and the top table score within their group. No matter your level—beginner, intermediate, or expert—there’s a place for you at the table!
Additionally, we’ll award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Best Decorated Table category.
On the registration form, we’ll ask about your skill level in Mahjong, whether you need the National Mah Jongg League 2026 Card, and if you require Mahjong sets. At the Beginner level, you must have a basic understanding of how to play mahjong by participating in previous instruction. This event is not designed as a teaching event.
You will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a gorgeous Mahjong tile set! Stay tuned to our social media to see the set advertised.
Come ready to shop all the items you need for playing mahjong at a pop-up shop with local mahjong instructor, Rachel Mabry of The Flower Tile. We will have tile sets, mats, racks, and all the accessories available for you to purchase so you can continue to MAHJ with your friends!

Meal Choice
Please choose your meal option. After completing your ticket purchase, you will proceed to the next screen, where you can select one of three meal choices. This opportunity will end on Wednesday, June 10th.
After that, meals will still be available, but your preferred option cannot be guaranteed.
Meal options are:
Classic Box Lunch
Includes a Turkey and Swiss sandwich, a bag of chips, a cookie, & mini sweet spice muffin.
Greens Box
Includes either a Harvest salad with Tangerine Balsamic dressing or a House Salad with either Tangerine Balsamic or Ranch dressing, a cookie, a mini sweet, and a spice muffin.
Two Daily Scoops
A scoop of chicken salad and pimento cheese garnished with lettuce, avocado slices, and a boiled egg, served with a choice of a cup of soup or fresh fruit.
The Savannah
Chicken salad, egg salad, and tuna salad served with a cup of chicken tortilla soup and fresh fruit.
Iced Tea and Lemonade Included.
Bottled Water and sodas are available for $1.00 each.
Adult Beverages: Bring Your Own, including your drink container.
